Bowed Psaltery with Case
Shown here with its bow, rosin, tuning wrench, spare wire, case, and instruction book the bowed psaltery very easy to play. There is no fingering and only one note is played at a time, no chords. The 32 string Soprano instrument (shown here) with it's haunting sound is excellent to accompany singing as well as a solo instrument while the 27 string Tenor version is better playing with a group. Both are available with a walnut frame/ash laminate soundboard. The instruction book starts at a basic level and progresses to an advanced level. $35 shipping.
